The Netherlands Embassy in Panama City and Holland House Panama are organizing a Maritime & Logistics trade mission to Panama from 28-30 March 2023. Innovative companies from the Netherlands, Curaçao, Aruba and St Maarten with a focus on port development, port digitalization, AI, digital transformation, renewable energy and sustainability solutions are invited to participate in this 3-day trade mission to the Maritime & Logistics Hub of the Americas!

Opportunities in Panama

The maritime & logistics sector is key to Panama’s growth & competitiveness. That’s why Panama is investing in existing and new ports, equipment and systems and particularly improving efficiency, digitalization and sustainability.

Multiple tenders are currently starting or in progress in Panama, centred around port infrastructure and equipment, modernization works, CO2 neutrality, renovation of shipyards, digital transformation projects and logistic management systems. Only the Panama Canal is already investing 500 million in digital transformation and 500 m. – 1.5 billion in CO2 neutrality in the coming decade

Registration is open to companies from the Netherlands, Curaçao, Aruba en Sint Maarten, active in the Maritime & Logistics sector (max. 10 companies can participate; max. 2 persons per company). Participation fee is: 850 EUR (also includes participation to the World Logistics Forum). Registration deadline: February 13 2023.
